In searching for a real estate professional to represent us, we found Ms. Parkes website, which we found to be extremely detailed and comprehensive. It was obvious that she takes the time to do things right! Upon meeting her, she was prepared in not only knowing about the subject property we were listing, but presented a detailed pricing analysis.
The process of selling was just as easy. Within approximately four (4) weeks, of listing the property, she had presented us with a total of three (3) offers, all from highly qualified buyers, compare each offer to insure a strong balance between meeting our goals of a quick sale and maximizing the sales price. During the escrow period, she was in constant communication with us to expedite the process.
The property she sold for our family was one of extreme sentimental value as it had been in our family for 37 years and had served as a gathering spot for five, yes five generations of our family. This letter is to acknowledge the outstanding service by Marcia Parkes in getting my property in Jamul sold in a timely manner. Marcia got the property into escrow within time frame timeframe that I requested and saw the sale through to closing in a very difficult market after I through gone throufh two 6 month listings with two other real estate agents/agetns, to no avail. When I called Marcia beginning the begining of August 2006, I was very tired and discouraged after 13 months of trying to get my property sold by previous listing agents.
Marcia met with me, listened to my story of the previous failed attempts to sell the property and calmly but very confidently accepted my request for a 90 day listing contract and told me that she thought she could get property propety sold. I believed her in part because I had watched activity of other properties in East County - including Jamul, that other Realtors failed to get sold and then Marcia picked up the listings and got them sold promptly.
Marcia was very reassuring and stayed calm throughout negotiations and saw the transaction through with confidence and reassurance. Marcia is an excellent and outstanding Realtor and an amazing individual. Marcia is so very pleasant to work with, she has a wonderful sense of humor, yet she's all about business in getting the job done.
